KAY DACEY ART

For the last fifteen years painting has become an instinctive passion. I began experimenting in different mediums, finding oil and acrylic work best for me.  My pieces are inspired by a variety of land and seascapes, which I interpret onto canvas or board creating semi abstract scenes, usually without reference, but remembering how I felt whilst observing them. The use of palette knives are vital for texture as much as the painting will allow, together with colour which tends to be bold.

I belong to several art groups in and around Cheshire and exhibit with them annually.
